Cynthia L. Vital, age 61, passed away peacefully with her family at her side Thursday, January 25th, 2018 at Rust Medical Center in Rio Rancho, New Mexico. She was born on February 6th, 1956 in Albuquerque, New Mexico to Ralph Rodriguez and Sara (Lucero) Rodriguez. She was a Clayton High School Graduate and worked for the State Of New Mexico Health Department before moving to Rio Rancho, New Mexico to be with her family.
Cindy truly loved life and she fought a tough fight. She was strong spirited, always laughing, very talented and exceptionally creative. Cindy had many talents which included crocheting, drawing, painting and shared a love of ceramics with her mother. However, Cindy’s greatest talent was making friends and people laugh. She is survived by her mother, Sara her son Misael, her brothers Phil, Leonard and Ralph, Grandchildren Lucy, Warrick and Liyah and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
So now Cindy has received her wings and is on her next journey to be with her daughter Sara, her father Ralph and her sister Barbara.
A funeral service will be on Thursday, February 1st, 2018 at Daniel's Family Funeral Home, 4310 Sara Rd. SE, Rio Rancho, NM 87124. A viewing will be held from 1:00 pm until 4:00 pm and services will be held at 6:00 pm.
