Services for Dan Watchman, 81, will be 10 a.m., Thursday, Dec. 2, at St. Michaels Catholic Church. Joseph Gonsalves will officiate. Burial will be in Kinlichee Community Cemetery. Watchman died Nov. 28, 2010, in Flagstaff. He was born Feb. 10, 1929, in Kinlichee, into the Red Running Into the Water People Clan for the Black Streak Forest People Clan. Watchman worked for the Union and BNSF Railroad. His hobbies included playing cards, herding sheep, spending time with family and grandchildren. Survivors include his son, Daniel Watchman of Steamboat; brothers, Lawrence Watchman of Kinlichee, Hambert Watchman of Cross Canyon; sisters, Lena M. Hubbard of Kinlichee, Louise L. Watchman of Kinlichee, Lilly McCabe of Kinlichee, Lillian Watchman of Kinlichee; 10 grandchildren. Watchman was preceded in death by his parents, Charley and Yelthdesbah Watchman; brothers, Thomas, Henry, Larry Watchamn; sister, Lucy James; children, Max, Vincent, Donald, Dana, Denny, Angelita Watchman. Pallbearers will be Lambert Watchman, Harrison Gorman, Francis Dayaye. The family will meet at Lillian Watchman’s residence at 1 p.m., Dec. 2. Arrangements are entrusted to: Tse Bonito Mortuary
