DANIEL “HOOT” SCHULLER

Daniel “Hoot” Schuller, age 100, resident of Albuquerque, NM passed away quietly at home on Friday, March 16, 2018.

He is survived by his son, Daniel Schuller, Jr., daughter, Pamela Feinberg, sister, Helen Werthman and two grandchildren, Gabriel Lanz and Jennifer Ihrig.

Originally from Monaca, PA he spent many years in Chicago, IL.

Dan was a proud Combat Veteran of WWII serving three years in the South Pacific as a radioman aboard the USS Montpelier in “Bull” Halsey’s 3rd fleet where he was wounded in action.

He was an avid sports fan, having played many sports, and especially enjoyed watching Penn State football. He loved people, had a joy for life and always had a smile. When asked how it felt to be 100, he would say, “Oh to be 85 again.”

No services are planned at this time.
