Darlin Alice Baird

Darlin Alice Baird, age 101 of Aztec, peacefully left this world on Christmas Day, December 25, 2009 surrounded by her loving family. Darlin was born August 10m 1908, in Pineville, MO. to Wallace M Frame and Alice Maud Proffett Frame. In 1911, Darlin and her family moved west to Breene, Colorado and in 1969 they came to Aztec and raided their family there. Darlin was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Walt Baird and her son LaNell Baird. She is survived by her daughter, Carla Vescovi Dial: son. LaVal Baird and his wife, Shirley; and daughter-in-law, Evelyn Baird. She also leaves behind four grandchildren, Ronnie Baird, Casey Boketizian, Kelly Baird and Cole Baird; five great-grandchildren and four great-great- grandchildren. Darlin was always known for her cooking and spotless house cleaning and occasionally telling an off-colored joke or two. She won several awards for her beautiful yard, which was filled with bright colored flowers. Darlin has been entrusted to the care of Daniels Family Funeral Services, 804 N.
