Age 44, passed away Monday, November 3, 2014. He was born in Albuquerque, NM on May 22, 1970, to Ben Chavez and Emilie Chavez. He was a beloved father, son and brother.  Dave Chavez was a renowned musician also a graduate from (MI) Music Institute in California, he was a  teacher of music but also to some a hero, as well as a great chef, and he could always put a happy emotion on someone's face just from his amazing cooking.  He had a graduate degree in the culinary arts.  He is survived by; his daughter, Dominique, his son, Sebastian, his ex wife, Tina, also his mother Emilie, his father, Ben, brother, Desi Chavez, sister, Michelle Ponder and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews, and cousins that loved him dearly . Visitation will be held on Friday, November 7, 2014 at 6:00 p.m. at Daniels Family Funeral Services 7601 Wyoming Blvd. Ne Albuquerque, NM 87109. A Rosary will follow at 7:00 p.m. Service will be held on Saturday, November 8, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at The Risen Savior Catholic Community at 7701 Wyoming Blvd. NE Albuquerque, NM 87109 with Interment to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
