David Berry

Berry, David Linson David Linson Berry, the only child of Harold and Catherine Berry, was born on July 10, 1924 in South Solon, OH. David passed away on August 22, 2014 at Presbyterian Hospital in Albuquerque, NM. David served in the U.S. Army during WWII. He graduated from Wittenberg College, Springfield, OH. David and his bride, Barbara, moved to NM where he attended the University of New Mexico participating in the Masters of Fine Arts Program. David was a passionate artist but worked at Sandia Lab to support this passion until his retirement from the radar group. David, a 36 year recovering alcoholic himself, was proud that he was able to help others follow his example. He was a long time member of St. Thomas of Canterbury Episcopal Church and long time resident of The Vineyard 55 Community. A Memorial Service and Reception will be held on Saturday, September 6 at 2:00 PM at St. Thomas located at 425 University Blvd NE, Albuquerque. One of David's favorite quotes was "when you can learn to forgive yourself, it is easy to forgive others." David will be missed.
