David Candelaria was called home on December 5, 2015. He was loved and cared for by family and many friends. David was born on August 8, 1960 to Thomas Candelaria and Zoila Jojola in Albuquerque, NM who preceded him in death. David is survived by his wife Sally Candelaria; son, Allen Candelaria; daughter, Renée Turano and husband Justin; daughter, Nicole Candelaria, and fiancée Jason McKenney; daughter, Valerie Candelaria; grandchildren: Zoey, Isabella and Elijah. He is also survived by his brothers, Michael and Roger, and sister, Cynthia and their families. As a lifelong resident of the Albuquerque area David graduated from West Mesa High School and attended TVI. He worked as a technician at Intel Corporation for 18 years and then in gaming at Sandia Resort and Casino. David loved spending time with his family and friends. Everyone who knew David knows how loving and kindhearted he was and how he always had a smile on his face. He was also an avid sports fan and loved hunting and fishing. He will also be greatly missed by Christmas and Dookie. A Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, December 11, 2015, at Sagebrush Community Church, 6440 Coors Blvd NW, Albuquerque, NM. Interment will follow at Vista Verde Memorial Park, 4310 Sara Rd SE, Rio Rancho, NM.
