David Castro

Castro, David 37, passed away on Wednesday, August 27, 2014 in Albuquerque, NM. He was born in Juarez, Mexico on April 14, 1977 to Juan Sr. and Manuela (Acosta) Castro. David was raised in Socorro and graduated from SHS in 1996. He had resided in Albuquerque for about the last 14 years. He was a hard worker but also enjoyed many hobbies which included dancing and cooking, David was a good cook. He was an avid Eagles fan. David was also very interested in Astronomy and he especially enjoyed sharing it with his daughters. More than anything in this world, David loved all his family and friends and cherished and adored his girls. David is survived by his loving parents; his beautiful daughters, Janisa; Maritza; and Nia; his devoted sister, Erika Montoya and husband, Chris; and his best friend and brother, Juan "Pelon" Castro and fianc�, Heidi. David will be greatly missed and forever remembered by all his nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and all the many friends, who's lives he touched beyond measure. The Holy Rosary will be recited on Wednesday, September 3, 2014 at 8:30 am at San Miguel Catholic Church, 403 El Camino Real, Socorro. The Mass of Resurrection will follow and be celebrated at 9:00 am with Father Andrew Pavlak as Celebrant. Interment will take place in the San Miguel Catholic Cemetery. Pallbearers are Lee Armijo, Jorge Silva, Michael Chavez, Chava Garcia, Chris Montoya, and Juan Castro. Honorary pallbearers are all David's nieces and nephews .
