David R. Garcia, age 52, passed away on Saturday, April 15, 2017 in Albuquerque. David was born on August 15, 1964 in Albuquerque, New Mexico, to Candelario and Ilene (Torres) Garcia.
David graduated from Sandia High School. He was an avid collector, cook, and was known as a gentle giant. He was a member of The Loyal Order of Moose.
David was preceded in death by his father, Candelario Garcia.
David is survived by one daughter, Amanda; one son, Vincent; his mother, Ilene; one sister, Diane and (husband) Martin; one brother, Steve and (wife) Debi; nieces and nephews, Santiago, Serena, Soriano, Michael, Nikki, Hayley, Elijah, Samantha, Alexis, and many relatives and friends.
A rosary and memorial service will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, April 21, 2017 at Daniels Family Funeral Services, Wyoming Chapel, 7601 Wyoming Blvd. NE.
An inurnment will follow the service at Mount Calvary Cemetery, 1900 Edith NE, Albuquerque.
