55, passed away on Tuesday, October 20, 2015 in Albuquerque, NM. He was born in Socorro, NM on March 30, 1960 to Manuel and Miquela (Aragon Vallejos) Griego. He was a life long resident of Socorro as well as Albuquerque. Although he had a serious side, David was very outgoing and had a loving heart. His family meant everything to him. He seen a lot of struggles and troubles but he faced them head on and always made the best of things. He founded the "Chain Gang" and later the "Iron Dawgs". He was very proud of the power weight lifting program and the impact it had on others, it became a positive hobby and gave many of his friends something to be proud of. David was a sports fanatic and he knew everything about everything -Sports. He was a great athlete and enjoyed playing cards. He was preceded in death by his father and his son, Lawrence Anthony David Archibeque. David is survived by his loving mother, Miquela Vallejos; his daughter, Theresa Marie Angela Archibeque; his loving grandchildren; and his devoted brothers, Luciano Griego and wife, Kathy; and Ralph "Casanova" Cano and Tracy Fowler. David will be greatly missed by his nephews, Luciano Griego Jr; Rudolpho Cano; and Kenneth and Jeremiah Griego; and many other loving family members and close friends. A Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 28, 2015 at 9:00 am the at Daniels Family Funeral Services - Socorro Chapel. A Memorial service and Inurnment will be held at a later date.
