David Griffith

Griffith, David David L. Griffith, age 71 passed away peacefully at his home in Albuquerque, NM on Sunday, January 6th, 2013 after a lengthy illness. David was born June 28, 1941 in Warren, Ohio to the late William and Edith Griffith. He was preceded in death by his brother, Bill Griffith of Cortland. He is survived by his siblings, Jane Johnson of Sarasota, Fl., Terry Griffith of Huntington, WV; and his children, Valerie Staudacher of Ft. Worth, Tx., Christopher Griffith of Sumter, SC, and Daniel Griffith of Salem, Oh. David was a 1959 graduate of St. Mary�s (Warren) High School and a veteran of the United States Air Force. David was a lifelong musician specializing in the trumpet. He had a lifelong career as salesman of real estate and retail. David will long be remembered for his cavalier spirit and story-telling abilities. His trumpet from the days of St. Mary�s never was far behind. He leaves a lifetime of family and friends that will miss him dearly. A memorial service will be planned at a later date.
