David James Martinez

MARTINEZ_David James Martinez, 47, died peacefully in his sleep sometime in the morning hours of May 30, 2009. His faithful dog, Luna was at his side. David was born March 21, 1962 the son of John B. and Margaret Aguilar Martinez in Alamogordo, New Mexico. He graduated from Alamogordo High School, and attended some college here in New Mexico. His hobbies consisted of playing guitar, listening to and loving music, arcade games, fixing cars, bike riding, camping, hiking, fishing, drawing, and being the best father he could be. David is survived by two daughters, Vanessa and Victoria; one son, Aaron; parents, John and Margaret Martinez; brothers and sister, Ronnie, John, and Gloria; as well as numerous other family members. David will be and is already sorely missed. Already without him here the world seems a little less bright. However, in his eyes, he would not ask or want us to mourn his death. He would prefer all of us to celebrate the life he had. He was always smiling, and would want us to keep smiling for him. He led a happy life and would expect us all to continue on with our life. He does not want us to cry every time we think of him, he would want us to smile. David, we all miss you and pray that you are with us at all times. Our unconditional love and prayers go out to you.
