David Mitchell McKnight

David Mitchell McKnight passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, February 28, 2016 in Albuquerque, NM at the age of 28. David was born on December 3, 1987 in Lewisville, TX. David graduated from Lewisville High. David was a loyal friend and loved his family. He was a friendly and social person who enjoyed beating his Dad at pool, leaving “I Love you” messages on his Mom’s phone, and watching the Cowboys.

David leaves behind his beloved daughter Peyton (PeyPey).  David is survived by his father, Steven McKnight and stepmom, Rickie McKnight; mother, Kim Salter McKnight; brother, Michael Ryan McKnight; grandparents, Mickey and Maggie McKnight, and Faye and Larry Salter. Family includes his uncles, Mark and wife Kimberly McKnight, and Jerry and wife Joy McKnight; stepsisters, Stephanie Jacobsen, and Kelley Whitaker; uncles, Tim Salter, Jeff Salter and wife Becky, Matt Salter and wife Karen; aunts, Kippie Salter Barnack and Tracy Salter; many cousins, nieces, nephews, and all who will miss him deeply.

A celebration of David’s life will be held on Saturday, March 5, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at Daniels Family Funeral Services - Wyoming Chapel, 7601 Wyoming Blvd NE. A reception to follow at Kelley and Sean Whitaker’s home. All are welcome to attend and celebrate David’s life.
