MONTOYA - David Montoya, age 64, beloved father, grandfather, and brother, was called by the Lord to his heavenly home to join his beloved wife, Wednesday, April 1, 2009. David was born on October 8, 1944 and was a life long resident of Pena Blanca, NM, where he was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Church. David retired after 30 plus years of service as a Drywall Finisher, and was a member of the Local Union #823. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with "his buddy" Lobo (his dog). He was preceded in death by his wife Lou Ella; his parents, Eliseo and Ursula Montoya; two brothers, Terry and Richard Lee Montoya. David is survived by his loving children, Yolanda Montoya and Oscar Ayala of Rio Rancho, Jacob Montoya and Yolanda Lucero of Bernalillo, and David Montoya Jr. and his wife Amanda of Rio Rancho; his precious grandchildren, Samantha, Brittany, Savannah, Amor, Jacob Jr., David III, and Karlee. He is also survived by his ten sisters, Melissa Montoya, Loraine Ortiz, Theresa Bransford, Sadie Montoya, Georgia Velasquez, Christine Lovato, Mary Mares, Lucille Romero, Ida Garcia, and Sharon Montoya; and other numerous family members; and a host of friends. David will be greatly missed by his loving family and by those who knew and loved him. Pall Bearers will be Leonard Mares, Jason Montoya, Oscar Ayala, David Montoya, III, Jacob Montoya, Jr. and Bobby Ortiz. Honorary Bearers will be Ignacio "Nacho" Bojorquez and Jesus "Piporro" Grajeda.
