David S. Tafoya

Tafoya, David S. Age 92, passed away Thursday, September 18, 2014. He was born in Contreras, NM on September 8, 1922, to Celestino and Rafelita Tafoya. He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, John Tafoya, and Sylvester Tafoya. David is survived by his wife that he loved for over 65 years Celina "Sally" Tafoya of Albuquerque, NM; children, David Tafoya and wife Ann of Cedar Crest, NM, Pamela Tafoya-Giles and husband Scott Giles of Denver, CO, Victor Tafoya of Albuquerque, NM; grandchildren, Jason Tafoya, Ambrea McCullough, Lindsay Giles, Kelsey Giles, Delaina Tafoya, great-granddaughter, Zoe Tafoya; brother, Joe Ramon Tafoya; sisters, Tarcela Griego, Blondina Peralta, and Frances Cordova. He worked for Sandia Labs for over 36 years. David was an avid gardener who was also enjoyed photography and being outdoors. He was a incredible family man and showed his love and support for his children and grandchildren. He was small in stature but had an enormous heart. A Rosary will be recited at 7 o'clock pm on Friday, September 26, 2014, at Daniels Family Funeral Services, 7601 Wyoming Blvd NE, Albuquerque, NM. A Memorial Service will be celebrated at 10:30 am on Saturday, September 27, 2014, at Daniels Family Funeral Services, 7601 Wyoming Blvd NE, Albuquerque, NM.
