Dearl D. Hinson

Dearl Hinson of Bloomfield, NM passed away December 29, 2023, at the age of 79.

Born September 29, 1944, in Watsonville California. He grew up in El Paso (TX) and graduated from Irving High School in 1962. After graduation he married Charolette Maxine Morris, their life together lasting 39 years. A resident of Bloomfield for nearly 50 years, he worked construction as a member of Teamsters local 492, served as a Teamsters Business Agent, and at Joe Ziem’s Ford where he spent more than a decade as a Service Advisor and in Quality Control.

Dearl enjoyed spending his days golfing, fishing, and reading about history. He was preceded in death by his father, James F. Hinson Sr. mother Josie V. Hinson, wife Charolette Maxine Hinson, Brothers James H. Hinson, James F. Hinson Jr., Samuel L. Hinson, and Daughter Denise Hinson. He is survived by his son, Dean Hinson, daughter in-law Leticia Cruz-Hinson, granddaughters Eva Hinson, Kailee Rivas, Savannah Rivas, sisters Jennifer and Deborah, sister in-law Carrie, and many nieces and nephews.
