Debra Carrillo

Debra Carrillo passed away peacefully on Friday, December 4, 2020 with her family by her side. Debra was born September 14, 1957 to Pablo and Dora Martinez. She is preceded in death by her husband Tay Carrillo; son, Stanley Carrillo; brother, Justo "Justy" Martinez, and her stepmother, Julia Martinez. Debra is survived by her partner, Leroy Grajeda; siblings Sheryl Martinez (Michael Romero), Barbara Griego (David Griego) and sister in-law Eileen Martinez; her two grandchildren, Lianna and Adrianna, 2 great-grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly. Debra enjoyed going to the Casino and Cooking; she always welcomed family and friends to come over and visit. She was no stranger to anyone and would talk to everyone. She will be dearly missed. Debra especially loved her puppies, Bandit and Smokey. Christmas was her very favorite holiday. Debra’s family would like to extend our deepest gratitude to hospice and their staff, Father John Anasiudu of San Miguel Catholic Church for his blessings, Sister Annie Rincon, and the UNM cancer center. A private graveside service will be held at the San Miguel Catholic Cemetery on Tuesday, December 22, 2020 at 1:30 pm. Pallbearers will be Freddie R. Martinez, George Padilla, Michael Romero Jr. Jaylen Vergara, Roy Grajeda, Val Grajeda, and Andrew Grajeda. Honorary Pallbearers are Jeron Martinez, Ignacio Chavez, Derrick Chavez, Beth Martinez, Amanda Martinez Lianna Carrillo, Adrianna Carrillo, Rosalyn Garcia, Pauleen Martinez and Geraldine Jones.
