Debra Jean Lopez

Our beloved wife, mother, sister, tia, and friend left this world on Jun 23, 2021 after an extended illness.

She is preceded in death by her parents Ernesto and Rosa Sandoval, brother Daniel Sandoval, Goddaughter Faith Dominguez, and sister-in-law Susie Medina.

She is survived by husband of 47 years, Julian, daughter, April, her dogs, and grand-kiddos; siblings Louella Scott, David (Tina) Sandoval, Arturo Sandoval, Glenda (Salomon) Lovato, and Margie Sandoval. Godchildren Amy Sandoval, Maribel Garcia, Lisa Garcia, Jonathan Dominguez, Joseph Harvey, and Jenisiah Rodriguez. Along with many in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and her camping family.

Although she loved each and every one of her family—she had a special affection for brother in law Edward Medina and for nieces Robin (Joe) Duran, Claudelle (Joe) Martinez, Christelle Sanchez, Iris Sandoval, & Matthew Sandoval.

A rosary will be recited on Thursday, July 1 at 10:00 am and a mass of Christian burial will follow at St. Thomas Aquinas Church - 1502 Sara Road, Rio Rancho, NM. Interment will follow at Vista Verde Memorial Park in Rio Rancho, NM.
