Deciderio Isidoro Montoya

Our beloved father, grandfather and great grandfather went to be with the Lord and the love of his life Angela on August 26, 2024, he was 90 years old. Lelo was born on April 3, 1934, in San Antonio NM. He was the youngest and the last surviving of 9 siblings.

Lelo served in the Army from October 4, 1956, till July 30, 1958. He enjoyed working in his yard and always had the most beautiful flowers and he grew the best vegetables. He liked going to the casino and playing slot machines.

He is survived by his 3 children: daughter Sandra and husband Stephen Montoya, Thomas and wife Anita Montoya and Anita and husband George Maldonado, 9 grandchildren, Matthew, Dominic, Chelsea, Yvonne, James, Maria, Thomas Jr, Katrina, Brittney and 3 great-grandchildren, Nivana-leigh, Ava and Atlantis. Many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Lelo was preceded in death by his wife Angela, son Richard, grandson Deci and great-grandson Joshua.

Services will be held on Friday, September 13th, 2024 at Queen of Heaven Church, 5310 Claremont Ave NE, ABQ, NM. Rosary will be prayed at 9:30 AM, services at 10:00 AM followed by burial at 11:30 AM at Sandia Memory Gardens, 9500 San Pedro Dr NE. There will be a reception following the burial at Daniels Family Funeral Home, 7601 Wyoming Blvd NE.
