Delfinio Roybal Sr.

Delfinio Roybal Sr. was born on November 10, 1936 in Punta de Agua, NM to Eligio Rival and Gregorita C. Rival. He went to be with Our Lord on November 18, 201 7, with his family by his side in Albuquerque, NM. Delfinio was a life long resident of Punta de Agua, NM. Delfinio was a hard working man who didn’t ask for much and helped everyone he could.

Delfinio is preceded in death by his parents, Eligio and Gregorita Rival;  brother, Filemon Rival;  sister, Margarita Torres;  wife, Tomasita Luna Roybal; and his son-in-law, Eddie Marquez Jr. Delfinio is survived by daughter, Rosemary Roybal Marquez; son, Joseph James Roybal wife Teresa Roybal; daughter, Sandra Roybal Maes and Toby Maes;  son, Lawrence Roybal; daughter, Bernadette Roybal,  family members John Rochette and Albert Romero; son,  Delfinio Roybal Jr. and wife Pamela Roybal;  son, Martin Roybal and Raquel Vigil Roybal; daughter, Jennifer Roybal McDowell and husband Brett McDowell; He is survived by grandchildren, Jimmy Roybal, Josh Marquez, Jason Roybal, Richard Roybal, Amanda Roybal, Brittney Romero and husband Victor Romero, Rebecca Rotzoll and husband Bryan Rotzoll, Tomi Simone Roybal, Brooke Roybal, Katherine Maes, Ruben Marquez, Brittany McDowell, Makayla Roybal, Jacqueline McDowell, and Thomas McDowell.

Delfinio is survived by fourteen great-grandchildren: Ashton Marquez, Jayla Roybal, Nevaeh Roybal, Elias Zamora, Christopher Sanchez, Santiago Roybal, JulieAnna Roybal, Aaliyah Roybal, Cadence Lesperance, Jose Lesperance, Brayden Gomez, Xander Maes, Juliet Luna, and Mateo Romero.

Services for Delfinio Roybal Sr. will be Wednesday, November 22, 2017.
