Sandoval County Sheriff's Deputy, Dennis Coulter, 56, of Albuquerque, NM sadly passed away March 26, 2022.
Dennis was born to Charles and Vurlma Coulter on August 7, 1965. Dennis was the very embodiment of the words Protect and Serve, and not only in his police work, but in every aspect of his life. He was very protective of those he loved and cared for; always ready to step in should the need arise. Dennis' life was one of service, whether it was standing in support of someone, during times of great need, making repairs or doing maintenance on his mother's home, or rescuing a frightened kitty, lying in the middle of the road, one dark night. Dennis was a man of his word. He was honorable, hardworking, dedicated, and had a deep love for those close to him. He was a loyal and steadfast friend and was held in great respect and esteem by his fellow officers.
Dennis is survived by his wife of almost 24 years, Vanessa, his mother, Vurlma Coulter, his sisters, Debra (Timothy) Walter, Deanna (Frank Andreone) Coulter, Danita Coulter, and his brother, Darrell Coulter. Dennis is also survived by 5 nieces, 2 nephews, 6 great-nieces, 3 great-nephews, and a multitude of friends.
