Age 63, passed away Sunday, May 22, 2016. She was born in Kittery, ME on November 26, 1952, to Giovanni and Beryl (Jones) Mervini. Diana grew up in Albuquerque, graduated from Manzano High School in 1971, and attended UNM. She loved gardening, animals and listening to music. She enjoyed traveling, especially her time in Europe, and was a friend to all people and animals. Diana was a respected and devoted business woman, co-owner and founder of both O'Hare's Grille & Pub and Hot Tamales New Mexican Restaurant. She was preceded in death by her parents; Diana is survived by husband of 27 years, Michael Hughes; daughter, Katy Hughes; son, Joseph Hughes; and brothers, Joseph and Peter Mervini. Diana's love of life and her caring and giving ways will be missed by all that knew her.
