Diego Gonzales

Gonzales, Diego Age 27, beloved brother, son, grandson, father, cousin and friend, was embraced by the Lord and taken to Eternal Life, Sunday, October 14, 2012. He was a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, NM. He enjoyed drawing, snowboarding, gardening, having fun with family and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Margaret Baca; great-grandfather, Manuel Baca; uncles, Albert Baca, Liberito Baca; aunts, Susie Baca, Gabriela Baca; best friends, Chris Meeks and Anthony Paupfaros. Diego is survived by mother, Irene Gonzales; father, Mario Gonzales; daughter, Veronica Gonzales; the love of his life, Marissa Chavez; brothers, Jesse Gonzales, Adrian Gonzales, Joseph Gonzales; great-grandmother, Portana Baca; grandfather, Alex "Pops" Baca; aunts and uncles, Debra Baca, Julian Baca, Alex Baca, Salomon Gonzales, John Gonzales; other numerous relatives and a host of friends. Diego will be greatly missed by his loving family and by those whose hearts he touched. A Rosary to be recited Thursday, October 25, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. at Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church, 9502 Fourth Street NW. Service of Christian Burial will be Friday, October 26, 2012 at 9:00 a.m. Interment will follow at San Carlos Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jesse Gonzales, Adrian Gonzales, Joseph Gonzales, Alex Baca, Albert Baca and Julian Baca. Honorary pallbearers are Mikey Trujillo and Robert Sanchez.
