Dino Salvatore Basciano

December 23, 1956 — October 29, 2024

We are saddened to announce Dino Salvatore Basciano, 67, of Rio Rancho, NM, passed away on October 29th after a short and aggressive battle with cancer.

Dino was born in Brooklyn, NY, in 1956 to Anna and Gennaro Basciano. He lived his life as an entrepreneur and jack of all trades. He married the love of his life, Adrienne Lubrano, in 1981 and welcomed two children, Dino Jr. and Nicole. Later in life, he adopted stepsons Robert and Mateo and was head over heels for his granddaughter Sophia. The love he had for his family was seriously unmatched.

Dino was best known for his ability to befriend everyone he met and his generosity and willingness to always lend a helping hand. Dino had a larger-than-life personality and did everything big, putting his whole heart into it always. He had enough stories to have lived a hundred lives from his childhood with his three siblings and life in Brooklyn; his adventurous years in Boise, Idaho; to his later years in New Mexico. He lived a life that was truly “umbelievable” and will be missed more than words can express.

Dino is survived by his wife Adrienne, children Dino Jr. and Nicole, stepsons Robert and Mateo, granddaughter Sophia, brother Pasquale, sister Joanne, and beloved bird Sinatra.

He is preceded in death by his mother Anna “Chickie” Basciano, father Gennaro Basciano, and brother Gennaro “Jerry” Basciano, as well as many more beloved family members.

His services will be held on November 15th at 3 p.m. at Daniel’s Family Funeral at 2400 Southern Blvd. SE in Rio Rancho.
