Lopez, Dolores  
Age 73, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 4, 2017 surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Socorro, NM on December 9, 1943, to Antonio and Virginia Baca Jaramillo. A lifelong resident of Socorro, Dolores was strong in her Catholic faith. She enjoyed working with animals on her farm, watching game shows, going to the casino to play bingo and trips to California. Her greatest love and dedication was to her family. She was a loving, caring and devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 57 years, Joe A. Lopez; brother, Delavino Jaramillo; sisters, Mary Baca, Mary Ann Romero and Frances Benavidez and granddaughters, Sarah Ortega and Tasha Otero. Dolores is survived by her children, Debbie Lopez, Connie Spear (Frank Boucher), Jerry Lopez (MaryAnn), Joe M. Lopez (Cindy Chavez), Juanita Lopez (Roy Otero), Virginia Lopez, Ruby Lopez (Johnny Sedillo), Yvonne Gilley (Jeffery), Amanda Lopez and Pete Lopez (Clara Vega);  brother, Antonio Jaramillo; sisters, Rose Sanchez and Barbara Gonzales and 43 grandchildren and 53 great-grandchildren. The Holy Rosary will be recited on Saturday, April 8, 2017, at 9:30 am at San Miguel Catholic Church, 403 El Camino Real, Socorro, with the Mass of Resurrection to follow at 10:00 am with Celebrant Father John Anasiudu.  Burial will take place at Luis Lopez Cemetery  following service. Pallbearers will be Jerry Lopez Jr., Troy Spear, Evangel Maldonado, Josh Lopez, Andrew Gonzales and Albert Otero.  Honorary pallbearers are Arthur Jojola, Johnny Joe Sedillo, Joey Gilley, Andrew Ortega and Pete Lopez Jr. To view information or leave a condolence, please visit www.danielsfuneral.com.
