Dolores Mary Madrid

Dolores Mary Madrid  born in Corrales, New Mexico on March 17th 1940. She went home to be with our Lord on December 24th 2018. She is preceded in death by her parents Demetrio and Placida Rivera and loving in-laws Antonio and Mela Madrid. Dolores was a loving wife and mother of 9 children.  She was a devout ambassador for Jesus Christ, a dedicated school teacher for 33 years. Alongside her husband she spent 21 years working to help reform troubled youth.  Dolores’ proudest accomplishment was her marriage of 58 years to her loving husband Alejandro “Alex” Madrid, her children, 30 grandchildren and 36 great grandchildren. She is survived by her loving husband Alex, children Barbara, Patricia, Cynthia, Christine, Alejandro “Alex” Jr., Jeanne, Brenda, Manuel, Marie, and their spouses, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Viewing will be held on January 2nd, 2019 from 6-8pm at Daniels Family Funeral Home Sara Chapel at 4310 Sara Road SE, Rio Rancho, NM 87124. Her life celebration will be held Monday, January 7th at 11am at Legacy Church East Campus 4701 Wyoming Blvd NE, Albuquerque, NM 87109. Reception immediately to follow life Celebration.
