Olona, Dolores

Dolores Olona, age 89, a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, was called home to her Lord and Savior on Saturday, December 30, 2017, surrounded by her loving family. Dolores served the Lord faithfully her entire life and is now resting in the loving arms of her Father.

She was preceded in death by her son, Carl Olona, and her mother, Maria Colunia Metzger. Dolores is survived by her loving husband of 71 years, Joe B. Olona; son Eloy Olona; daughter and son-n-law Virginia and Mickey Soto; sons and daughters-n-law: Donald (Ollie) and Marlene Olona, Gerald and Vina Olona; 17 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; and one great great granddaughter.

A Visitation will be held Tuesday, January 9, 2018 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM followed by a Celebration of Christian Burial at New Beginnings Church at 11:00 AM. Pastor Richard Mansfield to Officiate. Interment will follow at 2:15 PM at Santa Fe National Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be: Eppie Lopez; Noah Nuanez; Isaiah Olona; Gilbert Olona; Jeremy Olona; David Rodriguez

We miss you dearly my darling wife, loving mother, and precious grandmother. Thank you for being such a Godly example to all of us.
