Domenica (Nicki) M. Gladieux

Domenica M. Gladieux August 12, 1926 - October 4, 2009 Former longtime Lawtey resident, Domenica (Nicki) Maryanne Gladieux, went home to be with the Lord on October 4, 2009. She died at age 83 as a result of the progression of heart disease. Mrs. Gladieux loved flowers, reading, Bible study, her yearly beach vacation with family, cooking for and being with family and friends and playing Scrabble. Her grandchildren were the delight of her life. She moved from Lawtey to Gainesville and then to an assisted living facility in Clermont, Florida, to be closer to her family after suffering a stroke. Lastly, she moved to Waterflow, NM. to live with Jerry and Regina Chitty, her son-in-law and daughter, where she had resided for the past year. She is survived by her four children; Carol Lippard of West Palm Beach, Larry Gladieux of Minneola, Regina Chitty of Waterflow, NM. and J.B. Gladieux of Simpsonville, SC. She will also be greatly missed by her eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Domenica's care has been entrusted to Alternative Choice Cremation & Funeral Services 804 N.
