Services for Dominic Chicharello, 87, will be 10 a.m., Dec. 9, at St. John Vianney Parish, Gallup. The Rev. Walker will officiate. Burial will be in family plot, Flowing Fawn Springs. Chicharello died Dec. 3, 2010, in Twin Buttes. He was born May 19, 1923, in Twin Buttes, into the Charcoal Streaked Division People Clan for the Red Running Into the Water People Clan. Chicharello graduated from Gallup High School. He retired from Gallup Lumber and Supply Co. He was a World War II Veteran and served in the Navy. Chicharello was a member of the Red Rock Veterans and NM Livestock Association. He was a rancher and worked around the house. Survivors include his wife, Mary S. Chicharello of Twin Buttes; sons, Leo Chicharello of Twin Buttes, Kelvin Chicharello of Mentmore, Marvin Chicharello Sr. of Tohajilee, Andrew Chicharello Sr. of Ramah; daughters, Marie Chicharello of Twin Buttes, Esther C. Shirley of Twin Buttes, Jolene Chicharello of Twin Buttes, Carolyn C. Davis of Pinehaven, Margie Chicharello of Twin Buttes, Lillian Chicharello of Churchrock, Anita C. Begay of Fort Wingate; sisters, Lucy Ortiz of Twin Buttes, Mary Ortiz of Twin Buttes; 39 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren. Chicharello was preceded in death by his parents, James and Maria Chicharello Sr.; brothers, Felix Chicharello Sr., James Chicharello Sr., Tony Chicharello; sisters, Paloma Chicharello, Derisina Chicharello; daughter, Louise Chicharello; son, David “Dave” Chicharello. Pallbearers will be Michael Suina, Ray Suina, Marvin Chicharello Jr., George Chicharello, Kerry Chicharelo, Manvel Shirley.
