On June 30th 2016, Heaven gained a special cowboy. Donald D Jaramillo, 54 was called home from his ranch in Ponderosa, NM and entered the gates of Heaven to be with our Lord. Born on June 19th, 1962 in Albuquerque, NM to EllaMae and Daniel Jaramillo. Donald is survived by his wife of 14 years, Tina Martinez, his two children, Andrea and Johnathon Jaramillo; two grandchildren Jaya and Angelo Jaramillo; His Mother, EllaMae Jaramillo and Father Daniel Jaramillo; Brothers Mark, Alfred, Andrew and Jesse Jaramillo; Nieces Nicole, Cristin, Bella; Nephews Mark, Brandon, Michael, Dominic, Andrew, Dylan and Daniel Jaramillo; and mother to his two children, Henrietta Jaramillo; his Mother-In-Law Betty Martinez-Janssen and Father-In-Law Bob Janssen. Donald is preceded in death by his aunt, Mabel Grey-Vigil.
Donald was more than we could ask for in a Husband, Son, Father, Grandfather, Brother, Uncle and Friend. He touched the lives of so many and was known for his giving heart, hard work and positive outlook on life. Donald took the unofficial role as a mentor in his community where he welcomed family and friends into his home and his heart. He enjoyed ranching, team roping, entertaining his family and friends in his big white barn, working with his brothers in their shops, and weekend projects with his wife, Tina. Family was everything to Donald and he took every opportunity he had to express his love. He wished to be remembered by the love and laughter that he shared with family and friends.
The family invites you to get your boots on and celebrate the life of Donald on Sunday, July 10 at 1:30pm in the Paliza Valley just north of his ranch in Ponderosa, NM.
