Donald G. Kelly

Kelly, Donald G. a resident of Rio Rancho for over 25 years, age 85, passed away on Thursday, July 18, 2013. He was born on July 29, 1927 to Harry and Helen (Schaff) Kelly of Manitowac, WI. After high school, he enlisted in the US Navy and served just over two years. He worked for many years in advertising and sales in the newspaper industry. Mr. Kelly was an avid stamp and coin collector, golfer, and was a member of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church and its' choir. He was preceded in death by his parents and survived by his wife of 60 years, Edith (Biederwolf) Kelly, of Rio Rancho, NM; children, Patricia Kelly of Austin, TX, Mary Willetts of New Berlin, WI, Julie Malloy and husband, Gregg, of Glendale, WI, Michael Kelly and wife, Cindy, of Milwaukee, WI, Amy Gariepy and husband, John, of Gilbert, AZ, James Kelly, of Las Vegas, NV, and Kate Busher and husband, Dan, of Ellicott City, MD; 16 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. The Rosary will be recited at 7:00 PM on Monday, July 29, 2013 at Daniels Family Funeral Services - Sara Chapel, 4310 Sara Road SE, Rio Rancho. The Celebration of the Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 AM on Tuesday, July 30, 2013 at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 1502 Sara Road SE, Rio Rancho, NM. Inurnment will follow at Vista Verde Memorial Park.
