Age 80, passed away Wednesday, April 20, 2016. He was born in Lockney, TX on August 10, 1935, to James and Nancy (Taylor) Wigington. He was a resident of the Albuquerque area for over 25 years. He was a teacher for the Bureau Indian affairs and an educator of students ranging from elementary to college. Donald was a minister with the Assemblies of God Church and served with the Lions Clubs in Colorado and New Mexico for over 20 years. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister; brother and their spouses. Donald is survived by wife, Ollie Wigington; children, Dine Campbell and her husband Phil, and Donna Gandt and her husband David; three wonderful grandchildren, Owen Gandt, Reese Gandt and Cailin Campbell; many nieces, nephews and extended family members. Service will be held on Friday, April 29, 2016 at 2:00pm at the Grace Outreach at 2900 Southern Blvd, NE Rio Rancho, NM 87124.In lieu of flowers donations may be given in Donald's honor to the American Heart Association www.heart.org, Lions Foundation www.lionsclubs.org, The Grace Outreach Center www.goclife.com.
