Donald H. Worman

WORMAN��?? Donald Harvey Worman, beloved husband and father passed away July 27, 2011. An active member in his church and community, he created a unique retail shop called the Glass Resort, and also sold wholesale goods through his High Desert Enterprises division. Every year for 23 years, Don ran a souvenir concession at the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta. He follows his beloved wife, Donna, who passed away in February of this year. Don returned from WWII in 1946 and married Donna the following year, spending 63 wonderful years together. They are survived by their children, Valerie, Douglas, and Jan; five grandchildren, Alyssa, Eric, Bryan, Marc, and Danielle; one great-grandchild, Bronwyn. Don is also survived by his sister, Betty Matthews of Chester, Virginia and his brother, David Worman of Lakeview, Arkansas. Don��?�s gift and legacy to his family is a full color hard-cover book: Don and Donna Memories: A Photographic Journey. It chronicles the Worman genealogy through seven generations. Don was able to see his book just days before he passed away. A Graveside Service, attended by the Naval Honor Guard, will be held at 12:30pm, Sunday, August 14, 2011 at Daniels��?�s Family Vista Verde Memorial Park, 4310 Sara Rd. SE and Meadowlark Ln., Rio Rancho, NM. A Memorial Service will follow at 1:00 pm at High Desert United Methodist Church, 4200 Meadowlark Ln. SE, Rio Rancho, NM. Pastor Bob Guido will officiate.
