Donna H. Hamiga

HAMIGA - Donna H. Hamiga, 67, passed away peacefully in her home on Monday, December 22, 2008. She is the daughter of Charles and Margie Hicks of Carlsbad, NM. She is survived by son John Darin Hamiga currently in San Francisco, CA, and daughter Terri Simpson and husband Jacob with 11 children living in San Diego, CA. She is also survived by brother, Randy Hicks, and sister Vikki Smith and her husband Herman of Albuquerque and their children Daniel Smith and Diane Larck and her husband Brian and their eight children. Donna worked for the City of Albuquerque Attorney's Office as a paralegal for over 20 years. She attended Hoffmantown Church for 32 years, having faithfully served as Sunday School pianist, hosting Bible studies, and teacher of Children's Church. Donna loved gardening, bargain hunting, helping neighbors and friends. She enjoyed her retirement and was an animated storyteller. Donna was overly generous to her family and everyone who knew her will miss her.
