Doris Madeline Garner

Doris Madeline Garner passed from this earthly life on Tuesday, July 14, 2009 at the age of 92. She was born December 14, 1916 in Fairfield, Illinois to Charles and Ethel (Wilson) Webber. Doris was an avid reader and enjoyed music of all kinds. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Rev. Lionel Garner and by 4 sisters. Doris is survived by her loving children, Jim Garner and wife Dorothy of Farmington, Philip Garner and wife Patti of Fairmount, Georgia, Susan Holden of Buffalo, New York, and Beth Starkey and husband Randy of Chattanooga, Tennessee; 7 grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren. Cremation has taken place and a private family graveside service will held in Atlanta, Georgia. Mom was deeply loved and will be sorely missed.
