Doris Maxine Scott

Doris Maxine Scott, age 83, passed away January 29, 2013. A loving wife, mother and friend to many, her cheerful and spirited disposition will be missed by all that knew her. She was born November 29, 1929 in Lincoln, Kansas. While interning as a nurse in Ellsworth, she met and married her husband, Cloyd H Scott. Together they have one daughter. Doris was an accomplished designer/artist, seamstress, leather crafter, organist, and she loved arts and crafts of every kind. She especially loved anything southwestern, including Turquoise jewelry, Indian rugs and pottery, cats, the mountains, and the desert. She is survived by her daughter, Linda MonDragon and her husband Hugo of Houston, TX, granddaughter, Angela MonDragon of Dallas, and Grandson Shon MonDragon of Houston. A memorial reception will be held for friends and family on Friday, February 1st at 2:00 pm in the chapel of the Monzano Del Sol senior community at 5201 Roma NE.
