Doris B. Sultemeier

Sultemeier, Doris B. Doris Barnard Sultemeier, Age 91, a beloved 62-year resident of Albuquerque, passed away February 26, 2012. She's survived by her children, daughter, Suzy, husband Chuck Heisel, and son, Kurt, wife Rita; grandchildren, Alice, and her husband Jason Shoup and their son James (her only great grandson), Maria and Kurt Jr., numerous nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, and many friends. She was preceded in death by her husband Harold and her brother Glen. She grew up in Smithville, MO. and Denver, CO. She worked for the Air Force during and after WWII: also as office manager for the Albuquerque Public Schools, volunteered for many years for the Bernalillo County Council of the PTA Clothing Bank and volunteered for more than 27 years delivering for Meals on Wheels. Doris was an excellent homemaker and cook, loved gardening, sewing, traveling but primarily, her family. She'll be deeply missed. Her memorial service will be held at Monte Vista Christian Church 3501 Campus Blvd. April 14, 2012 from 11:00 PM to 2:00 PM the service reception at the church will be from 11:00 AM. to 2:00 P.M.
