Age 67, passed away Thursday, December 7, 2017. She was born in Socorro, NM on August 4, 1950, to Juan and Florinda  Zamora. 

She was preceded in death by her father, Juan, and mother, Florinda Zamora, sister, Sophie Rosas.

Dorothy is survived by husband, Donaciano Gallegos of Socorro, NM, daughter, Sandra (Leonard Rivera, Sr. ) Gallegos, son, Micheal Gallegos, grandson, Micheal Gallegos, Jr., granddaughter, Michelle  (Edwin Armijo, Jr.) Gallegos, granddaughter, Amanda  Murillo-Gallegos, granddaughter, Crystal Murillo-Gallegos, granddaughter, Cailey Montano-Gallegos, grandson, Christopher Gallegos, grandson, Leonard Rivera, Jr., granddaughter, Sienna Rivera, granddaughter, Jazmyn Rivera, great-granddaughter, Mariizol Gallegos, great-granddaughter, Serenitee Armijo .

Dorothy loved all her nieces and nephews.  She loved to gamble, cook, and more than anything she loved all her family and friends.  She was full of life.  Although she was going through a lot over the years, she never wanted to rest.  A fighter until the end.  She was a strong believer in the Catholic religion.  She left us with a smile.
