Harris, Dorothy M

Age 91, passed away Friday, May 4, 2018. She was born in Saginaw, MI on November 10, 1926, to Seth D. and Nina M. Gates.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Edward H. Harris; sisters, Muriel Ileene Orehing, Margaret Louise Hollingworth, Virginia Lorraine Fitzgerald, Leatha Barbara Shebester.

Dorothy is survived by her son, Gary (Janice) Harris of Highlands Ranch, Co; daughter, Sandra (Ken) Dewbre of Rio Rancho, NM; five grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.

Dorothy enjoyed baking, bowling and reading. She was a member of the National Secretaries Association - local and National level. Read west - Order of Amaranth, Eastern Star, and Soroptomists. Dorothy was a Deacon and an Elder at both Santa Fe Presbyterian and Rio Rancho Presbyterian.

Service will be held on Saturday, May 19, 2018, 2:00 PM, at Rio Rancho Presbyterian Church. 1004 24th Street SE, Rio Rancho, NM 87124. Interment to follow at Santa Fe National Cemetery, time to be announced.
