Dorothy Darlene Hennigan

Dorothy D. Hennigan, 76, of Farmington, died about 9:30 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 25, 2011, at her home in Farmington. She was born July 10, 1934, in McAlester, Okla., to Allen W. Kennedy and Cordelia (Ward) Kennedy. Dorothy married Burnell D. Hennigan in September 1951, then moved with him and their new family to Farmington about 1957. She was a dedicated homemaker, raising four children. She also was accomplished in researching and documenting the history and genealogy of both her maiden and married family names. She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Burnell Hennigan; daughters, Deb Underwood of Texas, Beth Berve of Farmington and Karyn Hennigan-Linn of California; and six grandchildren.
