Dorothy M. Weatherly

Dorothy M. Weatherly, 94, slipped peacefully into glory on May 10, 2020.  A resident of Albuquerque since the 1990’s, she was born in San Antonio, TX on March 14, 1926.  She loved to travel and visited many countries throughout the world.  Some of her favorites were Spain, Egypt, Israel, Holland, Greece, Germany, and the islands of the Caribbean.  She used her green thumb as a Master Gardener with the Garden Club of Albuquerque and was always tending her plants and flowers.  Her love of history led her to serve as a docent at the Albuquerque Museum during her retirement years.  She loved to eat out and share a good laugh.  She is survived by her daughter, Marlene Weatherly.  He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.  Psalm 91:1
