Dorothy Sue Winston

Winston, Dorothy 80, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 10, 2013 surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Magdalena, NM on November 5, 1932 to Victor and Sadie (Strozzi) Papa. Dorothy was a lifelong resident of Magdalena. She was a devoted wife, mother, sister and grandmother, mentor and friend. Dorothy enjoyed working in her garden and growing her roses. She also enjoyed her occasional trips to the casino. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, John Winston; sisters, Alice Miner, Sadie Schoonover, Eva Rinkle, Stella Storm and Elsie Barber; brothers, Sero Papa, Henry Papa, and Pio Papa. Dorothy is survived by son, Bobby Winston and his wife, Clara of Magdalena; daughter, Debbie Martinez and her husband, Frank of Magdalena; grandchildren, Roberta Winston and husband, Matt Craig; Daniel Martinez and wife, Carleen Gomez; Brian Martinez; Selesia Winston; Andrea Martinez and husband, Jason Lucero; Richelle Winston; and Patrick Martinez and wife, Brittany; great-grandchildren, Mariah Martinez; Daniel Martinez Jr.; Vanessa Martinez; Leo Martinez; Bella Martinez; Breanne Lucero; Adam Craig, Aurora Craig; and Kerissa Martinez.
