Douglas Henry Steffen

Our beloved Douglas Henry Steffen left us on February 22, 2010, following a lengthy illness. Douglas was born to Waldemar John and Doris McWethy Steffen on July 21, 1948 in Phoenix, Arizona. Doug was a loving and caring husband, father, grandfather and friend to all. His love of life came through his artwork, riding his Harley, playing with his pups, Maggie, Pudgeman, Tinkerbell, Little Missy and just hanging out with his family. Doug worked 36 years for A.P.S. before retiring. One of his proudest moments was designing and building his dream home for him and the love of his life Marjorie. Doug always made sure he could give the best to his wife and children and adored each. He had a special place in his heart for Dr. Robert Burns and great admiration. He is survived by his loving wife Marjorie of 39 years, children Jennifer L Montoya and husband Victor, Juliaan Trotter and husband Sean, son Eric D. Steffen and wife Lora, grandchildren, Madison and Riley Trotter, Noah and Taige Montoya, brother John Steffen and wife Peggy, sister Karolyn Warner, brother-in-law Steven P Brown, Frank and Linda Danielson, mother-in-law Dixie lee Brown and special friend Bill McQueen who was there for Dad during his illness and 9 surgeries.
