Dr. Eddie O. Romero, D.D.S.

Dr. Eddie O. Romero, D.D.S., age 76, of Albuquerque, NM, passed away peacefully on December 6, 2024, surrounded by his loving family.  He graduated from University of New Mexico, as a pharmacist.  He then went on to graduate from the School of Dentistry in Kansas City, MO.

Dr. Romero owned his Dental Practice in Albuquerque for 37 years, until his retirement in 2013. Dr. Romero touched the lives of countless patients with his skillful hands and passionate heart.  He truly loved every aspect of his job and was a remarkable Dentist.

In addition to his professional accomplishments, Eddie enjoyed a range of pastimes, including golfing, traveling, and dancing. He held a deep love for his family, particularly his beloved granddaughter, Maddie. He will be remembered not only as an outstanding father, grandfather, and brother but also as a cherished friend.

Dr. Romero was preceded in death by his daughter, Michelle Romero, his son, Michael Romero, and his parents, Jose B. and Annie B. Romero. He is survived by his son, Bobby; granddaughter, Maddie; sister, Becky (Andy) Kozubal; sister, Sylvia (Harold) Fernandez; brother, David Romero; also many nieces and nephews.

Dr. Eddie O. Romero's warmth, kindness, and vibrant spirit will be profoundly missed by all who knew him.

Services will begin with Recitation of the Rosary, 10:00 AM, Saturday, December 21, 2024, St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 1502 Sara Rd., Rio Rancho, NM 87124.  Mass will follow at 10:30 AM.
