Dr. Igor V. Magedov

Magedov, Dr. Igor V. 49, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 14, 2013 with his family by his side. He was born in Moscow, Russia on May 4, 1964 to Vladimir Magedov and Alevtina Mishina. Igor was a devoted husband and father. His greatest passion was Chemistry, as he was a Synthetic Organic Chemist, Inventor and Professor at the NM Tech University. He loved his study and profession. Igor also occasionally enjoyed playing pool. Dr. Magedov lead a very meaningful, productive and brave life, touching many others. Igor is survived by his loving wife of 17 years, Dr. Liliya Frolova of Socorro, NM; his parents, Vladimir Magedov and Alevtina Mishina of Russia; his devoted children, Ekaterina Magedova and Sergey Magedov. Dr. Magedov will also be greatly missed by his fellow colleagues, students, and many close friends around the world.
