Dr. Victoria Duran Sanchez

Dr. Victoria Duran Sanchez, age 84, passed away Saturday, April 25, 2020. She was born in Alamogordo, NM on December 15, 1935, to Valente L. and Josefina D. Sanchez. 
Victoria attended Arizona State University where she went on to receive her PhD in Business Management.  She was an Assistant Instructor of Business Management and then became a Professor of Business Management at Eastern NM University.  She was the Chairperson of the Department of Administration and Economics from 1989-1991.  She retired in 2001.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and sisters, Cecelia Alvarez and Josephine Rodriguez.
Victoria is survived by her brother, Valente Sanchez Jr. of Albuquerque, NM; sisters, Louisa Garcia of Albuquerque, NM and Elaisa Gosnell of Milford, DE; 8 nieces and 4 nephews.
