Durley Cotham

Ms. Durley Cotham passed peacefully on July 21st, 2022, in Albuquerque, New Mexico, at the age of 82 years old.

Durley is survived by her brother Thomas Nelson Lanier of Florida, her sister Marian Lanier Harris of Florida, son Rick D. Cotham and his wife Debra J. of Mayhill, New Mexico, son Robert B. Cotham III and his wife Geri of Sandia Park, NM and son Philip A Cotham Sr. and his wife Susan, of Rio Rancho, New Mexico. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great- great grandchildren.

Durley is preceded in death by her parents Ruby (Crumpler) Lanier and Godfrey Seward Lanier, brother Robert Seward Lanier, brother Walter Samuel Lanier, sister Evelyn (Lanier) Gwinn, daughter Linda Stephens, granddaughter Jennifer Lynn Davis, and by granddaughter Crystal Cotham.

Durley was born on Wednesday June 5th, 1940, in Washington D.C., to Ruby (Crumpler) Lanier and Godfrey Seward Lanier. She loved shopping and playing board games and cards with her friends and family. Durley also enjoyed gardening, arts and crafts, and traveling.

A  Funeral Service will be held at Terpening and Son, located at 611 W Grand Ave, Artesia, NM, 88210, on Saturday, July 30th, 2022, beginning at 10:00AM.
