Earlene Latimer

Latimer, Earlene Earlene Latimer , 65, passed away Sunday, July 24, 2011. She was born March 8, 1946, in Ada, OK, to Inez and Melvin Jones. Earlene is survived by her husband of 49 years, Clay; son, Craig; daughter, Colleen and son-in-law Paul; grandchildren, James, Rebecca, Katherine, and Derik; and sister, Johnnie Graham of Ada, OK. Earlene and Clay lived in California until 1997 when Clay decided to help Harry Karsten establish Karsten Homes, in Albuquerque. She was a great wife, mother, and homemaker; however Earlene contributed to the success of Karsten Homes by assisting Joan Karsten in the interior design of the models. Earlene quietly touched many lives and will be greatly missed. Visitation for Earlene will be held Thursday, July 28, 2011 from Noon until 2:00pm, with services following at 2:00pm at Daniels Family Funeral Services on Wyoming, and burial to follow at Sandia Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Earlene's name to the American Cancer Society or to a charity of your choice.
