Eddie Pannell

Pannell, Eddie Age 65, departed this life on April 16, 2012 hand and hand with our Lord, to whom he came late in life. He fought a courageous but short battle to stay with his loved ones. He was born June 7, 1946 the second son of Redus Carlton Pannel and Ethel Lorene Keith. Eddie entered this life full of love and a thirst for knowledge. His earliest years were spent in Arizona where he skipped two grade levels due to his high IQ. Eddie graduated from KOFA high school in Yuma, Arizona and then attended college in California. After college he moved to Albuquerque where he married the love of his life, Joyce Aragon. The true essence of Eddie was his family. He had many things he was passionate about; teaching, hunting, shooting, racing cars just to name a few. Those who were fortunate enough to know him found a strong, kind, generous, fun loving man. He is survived by wife Joy; son, Steve; two granddaughters, Kim and Noel; brother, Carlton (Bettie); mother, Ethel Alonzo; uncle, Jack (Carolyn); aunt, Dorothy Finley; numerous nephews, cousins and close friends.
