Edith Lee Castleman

3/20/1945 – 11/12/2019

“Lee” courageously fought a battle with multiple forms of cancer. She lost that battle on November 12, 2019. Lee never met a person who did not become a friend. Customers at the Book Bin bookstore in Corvallis, Oregon, neighbors anywhere she lived in Corvallis, Oregon and Rio Rancho, New Mexico or the friends she made at the Woodmark Assisted Living all became friends she cherished.

Lee is predeceased by her parents; Elmer Speegle and Bettieann Mills.

She is survived by her son; Gary W. Castleman his wife Alicia of Canyon Lake, Texas, sister; Carol Bosworth of Albuquerque, New Mexico, niece; Donna Lewis of Albuquerque, New Mexico, brother; Jim Speegle his wife Natie of Phoenix, Arizona.

Lee requested no services, but that her ashes be scattered in the desert of Southern Arizona. The family wishes to thank the staff of Compassus Hospice and Las Palomas for their compassionate care of Lee.
